   i watched the movie recently but havent seen the anime besides for a couple of episodes and that was on TV.

   Toby dies from a robot with the red core then his father he is a scientist makes a robot replacing him with the blue core inside. The girl isnt in the movie but is in the anime. I dunno much about her…
